Centrix3D Information:
Centrix3D is a separate app to create a 3D general arrangement model using data saved to a file by Centrix.
Its purpose is to give the sales engineer a better appreciation of the design and make any necessary adjustments that may be needed within Centrix. It can also export standard 3D formats for giving to the customer for use in their plant layouts

Centrix3D Features:
The model can be rotated and zoomed on screen.
Export and Import to Step and Iges files are supported.
Export to 3DPdf is supported. This can be opened and rotated by the free Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.
Reads a Centrix3D file by default '*.cen3d'.
The impeller is NOT included in the model to preserve your intellectual property.
No other 3D CAD software is needed (Inventor or SolidWorks etc) to use Centrix3D.

Usage:
The sales engineer first makes a selection and completes the design using Centrix. The 2D GA drawing must then be viewed which will create a temporary file for Centrix3D to read. The 2D drawing is then closed and if no changes are needed the project file can be saved and the *.cen3d' file will be created in the same folder as the Centrix project file. The location and name of the *.cen3d file is also saved in the registry. The Centrix3D app can now be launched and it will create the 3D model.
Important: any manual changes made to the CAD GA drawing within Centrix will NOT be saved in the *.cen3d file

Limitations:
Centrix3D can be used with Centrix Lite for an additional annual support payment.
The impeller is not included in the model.
Isolation mounts and inlet and outlet accessories such as silencers and dampers are included in the latest release.

Customers of Centrix software must be on the annual support agreement to use the Centrix3D app.
